Ann Schraufnagel is an internal medicine physician and chief resident at the VA Puget Sound Hospital in Seattle, Washington. She reported on open defecation in India as a 2015 Pulitzer Center Global Health Reporting Fellow. A graduate of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, she will start specialty training as a pulmonary and critical care fellow at University of California, San Francisco in July 2020. She’s a lover of the outdoors and Chicago Bulls.
